Visitors Center Visitors Center Hours of Operation The Rappahannock County Visitors Center is just east of the Town of Washington and next to the Rappahannock County Library. Free WI-FI available. Visitor Center business hours are: Friday, Saturday, and holiday Mondays, 9 am–5 pm; Sunday, 12–5 pm, except during the winter. Limited Hours During Winter Months The Rappahannock County Visitors Center will be open for holiday weekends only during the months of January through March, 2013. The Visitors Center will be open during Martin Luther King Jr. Day weekend (January 18 – 21), President’s Day weekend (February 15 – 18), and St. Patrick’s Day weekend (March 15 – 18). The Visitors Center will reopen for the 2013 tourism season with its regular weekend schedule on April 5. Information for Visitors Available at Kiosks Rappahannock County Visitors Guides and other tourism information are available all year at the kiosk located outside the Visitors Center. Tourism staff will continue to stock the kiosk outside the Center with County Visitors Guides. A visitor information kiosk is also located outside the U.S. Post Office in Washington, Virginia, at the corner of Main Street and Warren Avenue. Contact the Office of Tourism During the week and in the winter months, please contact the Rappahannock County Office of Tourism for tourism information. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 am–4:30 pm; closed all federal and state holidays. You may also leave a voice message at the Visitors Center, 540-675-3153, and we will return your call.
