Couple’s Massage Weekend
Master therapist Elizabeth Lee will guide couples in learning specific techniques for helping one another. Weekends are designed to introduce couples to healing touch, building rapport and massage technique. Elizabeth Lee is a Bioholistic Practitioner and has been practicing and teaching for more than 35 years. She uses multi-disciplines in her classes including reflexology, shiatsu, cranial-sacral work, postural balancing, neuro-muscular release and kinesiology. She also incorporates her skills as a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist to help re-pattern for greater well being. A $100 deposit is required to reserve your space. Enrollment limited to 4 couples. Mountain Village Retreat and Stained Glass Workshop
Enjoy a quiet weekend at The House on Water Street in the historic village of Sperryville, Virginia, and indulge your creative desires at a stained glass workshop in the studio of artist Patricia Brennan of De’Dannan Glassworks, tucked away in Old Hollow, just five minutes from the house. In the foothills of the luminous Blue Ridge Mountains, with a minimum of four people (maximum of six), you can enjoy your own weekend workshop, learning a variety of stained glass techniques. On Saturday afternoon you will have a three-hour workshop, learning to make a Moravian star from beveled glass. You will be using the copper foil technique and assemble the bevels with a soldering iron. All tools and supplies are included. You and your friends/family will have full and private use of a three bedroom, two bathroom renovated 1900 village farm house. A self-serve continental breakfast is left in the house for you to enjoy at your leisure. In your free time, visit wineries, a distillery, gift and antique shops and art galleries.
