Live Entertainment Venues

Live entertainment in Rappahannock County can be as informal and spontaneous as the numerous "pickin parties" held at the Sperryville Volunteer Fire Department or at Hackley's Country Store on a Saturday night in the summer or a poetry reading at the RAAC Community Theater in Washington, Virginia, and as formal as a classical recital at the Theatre at Washington, Virgina or at the Theatre House at Castleton Farms. Live entertainment also is enjoyed at Griffin Tavern in Flint Hill, The Blue Horse Pub at The Blue Rock Inn & Restaurant (located between Washington and Sperryville), Stonewall Abbey Café and Rae's Place in Sperryville. The Link Community Center
Originally built in 1909 as the Sperryville Schoolhouse - and expanded as recently as in the 2000's -, the Link now houses the offices of several county non-profits and serves as an event and community center for Rappahannock County. The auditorium and raised stage are perfect for concerts, plays, community dances, banquets, class reunions, weddings and other public or private events.
