Related Events September 11, 2010 13th Annual Taste of Rappahannock Since long before "eating local" became trendy, the annual Taste of Rappahannock has showcased local foods and wines at a dinner and social event to benefit the children of Rappahannock County. Held at historic Belle Meade School along scenic Route 231, tables are set exquisitely with fresh flowers and greenery from local gardens, and both silent and live auctions are featured. The evening is sponsored by Headwaters Foundation to support programs dedicated to advancing educational opportunities for children in the county. January 1, 2011 Rappahannock First Start the New Year with a delicious buffet brunch (inclusive of local wines) served along with the Celtic & Appalachian tunes of the Gourdvine String Band. In the afternoon, have some fun (trivia!, magic!, fortune-telling!, therapy animals!, a pony!) and start acting on New Year's resolutions by learning about volunteer opportunities, as well as exercise, wellness, and nutrition options in Rappahannock County.
