November, 2009: Specialty shops, inns, roadside stands and markets packed with abundant local produce were featured in the November/December 2009 Escapes insert of the Richmond Times-Dispatch. The writer/photographer visited the villages of Sperryville, Flint Hill, Amissville as well as the Town of Washington, offering an inventory of where to go and what to buy. A short feature on The Inn at Little Washington was also included.
